Create a payment request

Charge a guest for anything, outside a booking or upsell: a damage fee, an extra night, a deposit, a parking ticket. The guest gets a secure link and pays by card.

Payments go to your own Stripe account, so connect Stripe first (see Settings).

  1. Go to Payment Requests and click Create Request.

  2. Fill in:
    • Guest name: search for the guest.
    • Select Listing: must be a listing assigned to your Stripe account.
    • Payment title: what the guest sees, for example "Replacement key".
    • Description: optional.
    • Email for invoice: where the receipt goes.
    • Amount and Currency.

  3. Choose a Fee mode:
    • Card (+3%): the guest pays the card fee on top.
    • Manual: you set the fee yourself.
    • No fee: you absorb the card fee.

  4. Check the Fee calculation (amount, card fee, total).

  5. Click Create & Share. Elev8 creates the payment link for the guest.
