Every Send Message step uses one of two message types.

Variables in Smart Templates. Click a variable to insert it into your message: Guest name, Property Name, City, Reservation Start Date, Reservation End Date, Guest Guide Link.
Advanced options add a discount and upsell variables, for gap-night and upsell offers:
Discount Amount: a percentage or an absolute amount.
Upsell variables: Discount percentage, Number of nights available, Total discount amount, Total price before discount, Total price after discount.
Smart options
Context checking: Elev8 AI checks the conversation before sending. If the message no longer fits, for example the guest already got that information, it isn't sent.
AI personalization (Smart Template only): Elev8 AI tailors greetings, recommendations and details to each guest's reservation.
Tip: turn on context checking for any message that could arrive at an awkward moment, such as an upsell sent right after a guest complains.
